Midas Enviro - Environmental Sustainability, Consulting and Solutions is a registered environmental organisation, based in Pune, Maharashtra. We provide solutions and services in the broad areas of environment, including hydrogeology surveys, GIS mapping, surface and ground water conservation, watershed development, soil moisture conservation (SMC), ecological study, biodiversity assessment, ecological sewage treatment plant (Eco-STP), avenue plantation, horticulture, landscape design and environmental assessment projects.

Highlights
Chinmaya Vibhooti
Pune, Maharashtra
Rooftop rainwater harvesting and watershed management study conducted across a 65-acre watershed area. The project also included hydrogeology survey, aquifer performance test for availability of underground water actual quantum, rainwater harvesting (RWH) calculation and designs like recharge pit with borewell, as well as watershed storage/ recharge structure such as CCT, recharge trench, WAT and storage ponds. Stormwater drain and sunk chamber for better rainwater management were also part of the work.
Kalpataru Foundation
Uniara, Rajasthan
Under this CSR activity, a water conservation project was undertaken to maximise rainwater recharge for farming and domestic purposes in the village. Spread across a watershed area of 3172 acres, our work included hydrogeological survey, aquifer mapping, bore and dug well inventory, and lithology of the study area. Based on our surveys and calculations, recommendations were made for design of recharge structures like CCT, gabion, farm/ sunken pond, nalla/ stream widening, existing large pond deepening, plantation and rooftop rainwater harvesting.

We implemented a rainwater harvesting system at the premises, focusing on rainwater recharge. Our work included creation of 60 recharge pits with borewell to enhance rainwater capture and recharge the confined aquifer to increase the surrounding area's water table. This also helped avoid water flooding in the study area.
